I think my government should invest in space travel because it is important for us and all living things. We have a lot of undiscovered things. If my goverment invests in space travel, we will have a lot of discovery, business more and we can live in Earth more convenience. If the Earth fell, we could move out to other planets. We have to prepare to move out there. The Earth is not forever.
M.F
I think this is bad idea for my government to invest in space travel, because that project needs a lot of money, and I want know why the government is interested in that. I think the government is not interested if it makes this idea, it just wants spend money. But I want give my government advice: If it wants to spend money to invest in space travel, give this many to poor people or any human project or develop my country.
Hiro
Should your government invent in space travel? why or why not?
I think government inventing in space travel is good . Because if the Earth is going to break down after many years, we have to find another place for people live. These days government is finding how to make atmosphere and more things on other planets. I guess after several years people can live in other planets and to do that our government will have to invest in space! But some companies invest in space to commercial is good way for government, company and us.

Should your government invest in space travel? Why or why not?
The government should support space business.
even if we can't succeed at space travel, our technology will progress and our life will be more convenient. For example, GPS is the result of space development.
Besides, we might discover new materials like rare earth elements. It'll make new technology or business.

Should your government invest in space travel? - Bella
I think government should invest in space travel. Because many kinds of energy resources on Earth will run out. For example oil, natural gas, various mineral. Also Earth has many problems of climate and pollution. So we don't know what will happen to our natural resources although they are an inexhaustible solar power energy, wind power. Therefore we should find other alternative resources that can be minerals or undiscovered substances. Space is huge and extensive and there is a possibility of finding other resources.
Should your government invest in space travel? Why?
I think government shouldn't invest in space travel. It has a great cost. That cost can be used for people. I think investing in education, medicine, disease or other problems of the country are much more important than space travel. Space travel would just be for rich people. I think it's not priority for my country.

Should your goverment invest in spave travel? Why or why not?
I think my goverment shouldn't invest in space travel right now. I have two ideas for supporting my opinion. First, right now, there are many problems in my country like low birth-rate, few job openings, FTA and so on. It should solve these problems before the investment. Second, it's not helpful for my country. I think it will be only for rich people, because of the expensive cost.

Fares..investing in space travel is not useful
In my opinion investing in space travel is not useful, because
there are a lot of more important things than investing in space travel, for example helping poor people and developing the hospitals. So
the government should spend money on the important things then they can think
about investing in space travel.

A: Yes, I did. And we won that match 2-1

A: You can't imagine. I felt so proud of myself and so happy but a little bit worried about the crowd.
Q4: Would you mind if I asked you what your favourite team is?
A: No at all, it's ok. My favorite team is Bayern Munich.
Q5: Could you tell me what your saddest moment was?
A: When we lost the world cup final against Spain. We were so close to winning and we played better but the luck was with Spain.
Q6: What is the difference between playing with your club and your national team?
A: I love my club but playing for my country makes me prouder than playing for the club. You would play for free for your country but it's something you can't do for the club. So it's simple, I like them both but nothing can compare with my country's national team.

parenting
I think the middle ground between Chinese and Western parents is the best way for parenting. The reason is that the Chinese method is too strict and the parents restrict their children's freedom; on the other hand, the Western style is too laid-back,and it seems they don't do properly as parents. I believe that the most important obligation which parents have to their children is helping them live a meaningful and worthwhile life. For this, parents need to respect their children's freedom and understand what they want or not. Also, if parents severely force their young children to do everything and punish them when they don't do well, it can make bad memories about their childhood that can have a bad influence on their whole life. However, if parents just let their children be free like Western parents, their children can lose their opportunities to find their potential and develop themselves. The reason is that, in childhood they don't have reasonable thoughts, so sometimes, they just skip what they have to do for their future and follow their instinctive desires. Therefore, parents need to give directions when their children get lost and if they don't, it is a negligence. As a result, if their two different ways are reconciled in moderation, it could be the best parenting method.
Malak Alharbi
Parenting
is a gigantic responsibility that builds the child's personality; therefore,
parents should carefully choose the right methods to raise their children. It
is all about balance between strictness and mildness. Being a tiger mother like Amy Chua can
definitely affect the child self-esteem. Childhood is the period when the
children have the passion to discover the world around them by using their
imagination, so it is very important to give children space. However, parents should always support
their children’s interests and try to develop them.
Parenting strict or laid back
There is a major concern in the actual North America society about how parent should raise their children.
Two of the most common approaches are the extreme ones which are really strict and laid back parents.
They have both positive and negative points. Pushing the child and showing him his potential can be very helpful; nevertheless, it can also have a poor effect on him, if the parents are too authoritarian, the child might rebel, therefore, it can have a huge consequence on the communication inside the family. On the other hand, if you give your child too much freedom or a lack of ground rules, he might be destabilized by having to follow the rules of society or his work place. The importance about these two styles of parenting is the different approach towards the purpose of the child and whether or not they have to give back every energy and time their parents put in them. Strict parents generally believe that educating a child is, in the future going to be profitable for them, the child is a investment that going to give them pride, money, self-esteem and social status; consequently, the success or failure of their child is directly linked to them; on the contrary, laid back parents educate their children without any expectation in return and mostly consider raising their child to be an altruism act. However, most models of parenting largely fall between those two types. Parenting is a challenging work that requires a lot of responsibility. Knowing how to educate a child depend on the environment which he is going to live in, friends he is going to have, the school where he is going to learn. Parents cannot control every aspect of the child life, they have to let them make decisions and mistakes by themselves, so they can learn how to think on their own as free will is one of the most important gift of humanity.

Strict parents & laid-back parents
These days, there are a lot of issues about parenting. Some parents are very strict, and some are really laid-back. I can't say who is wrong and who is right. Actually, I think both of them are impotent, I just want to say the most important thing is keeping balance between them. In Asian society, punishment is the general situation. They want to teach their children what is wrong and what is right. However, sometimes it becomes a problem because they punish too much. On the other hand, parents who are laid-back say they are giving their children freedom because it's children's life and they don't want to let their children feel bad. It sounds good, but when children do something wrong, parents still care about their feelings, so don't give punishment and try to say something nicely. Sometimes my parents are very strict but sometimes are laid-back. When I didn't respect older people, they were very upset, but they don't care about my test scores, because they think attitude and manner are a more important part of my whole life than test scores. They just give me some advice and let me decide what I really want to learn. And I think it is really good for me. Parents love their children so they parent in their own way, I can't say their way is totally wrong. I just want to say too much is always worse than too little.

Some of
the most important things in the family life are how parents raise and treat their children to make them valuable members to society. In my opinion, I
think the Eastern way is much more valuable for children compared to the Western way. The family should be strict with their children and should assume that they are strong. This is what Amy Chua says about her ways and I
totally agree with her. The more parents pay attention to their children's behaviour, the more they will be great human beings in the future. For example, if the
children try to get something and the parents see that is not
good for them, they must insist and not let the children get
what they want easily. On the other hand, the family should give them free
entertainment and the children should be allowed to express their energy in a perfect way without any
negative effects for both sides. Finally, those were just opinions and every
family in this world has different ways and traditions to raise their children and form them correctly in the right way.
Chinese parenting and Western parenting
Chinese parenting and Western parenting are totally different. The Chinese style of parenting is much more strict than the Western one. It is undesirable for children. First, Chinese parents restrict so many things about their children’s lives, so they can't have freedom or do what they want to do. In Amy Chua's case, her daughters were not allowed to join the school play and sleep over outside even if they wanted to do so. They weren't able to get opportunities to know something new or interesting. She ordered her daughters to do too many things, and they had to follow them without arguing. In addition, they were forced to play a musical instrument and practice for many hours. Once the younger daughter could not play the piano well and didn't want to play. Then, Amy Chua got angry about that and restricted her from having meals and even going to washroom. It is too strict for children. Second, Chinese parents do not take their children's abilities into account and do not evaluate their efforts. They always care about scores and grades. If their children cannot get straight A’s, they will accuse them. That is why children may lose confidence and self-esteem. They will be afraid of making mistakes, if they cannot get the highest score for some reasons, they feel they are not valuable. They will feel dejected. On the contrary, Western parents focus on efforts other than results. They encourage children to make more efforts, but they do not accuse children if they make mistakes or don’t get the highest score. Under Chinese parenting, children feel depressed, and they cannot enjoy their lives. That is why I think Western Parenting is better.
Amy Chua
In my point of view, I agree with Justine Roberts. Because the kids, are just that, kids. I'm against to the idea that we need to persuade them to be the number one. In this case, Amy Chua is a totally strict mother. The kids need to have fun, and enjoy their stage, but of course with some restrictions. I agree that hey need to focus on something, but they should choose what they really want or like to do. It's the life and the preference of each person. If you are mother, you have authority but you need to support your child in his own decisions. It's a way to be a good mother too, not just persuade them to do what is better for you.
