It's a Long Weekend!

Here's some information about two special Vancouver events happening this weekend.

The Celebration of Light is a fantastic fireworks competition between China, Canada and Spain this year. The whole city comes out to see the fireworks, so make sure you plan a meeting point to find your friends and remember that transportation will be very slow. There's lots of information on their website.

This is also Vancouver Gay Pride Week. There are some great things going on for this festival. Don't miss the Pride Parade on Sunday! Here's a list of events to check out.

I'm going to talk about my favorite designer, his name is Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani but everybody knows him as only Valentino. He is an Italian designers that makes clothes for women.
When he started, Valentino had in mind that “ "no man would like to go out with a woman who looks like a man" so their models are extremely feminine as dresses.
Valentino was known in the 60s, when he launched collection called Valentino’s White. After this everybody wanted his clothes.You can find this clothes in Italy, Japan and USA.
For me he’s the best, his clothes are wonderful, he’s a good professional, what he does to arrive success, in short, is the world’s best.

I will write about my favourite store, Guess.It has a lot of kinds of clothes and watches and you will find any kind of clothes.I like it because it is an awesome store and the sales clerks are so nice. Ecko Unlimited

The name of the brand is "Ecko Unlimited". The designer is Marc Louis Milecofsky from Livingston, New Jersey. He is a man who likes to do graffiti. He started with this in 1993, making men's clothes and when he saw that he could make money with this type of clothes, he started to make the same for women and young people. They have a hip-hop style, but a lot of normal people started to wear them because it became a popular brand in USA. I like them very much because I love this culture and I think that if I have to make a brand I'm going to put everything that ecko has in it.

Well I'm going to talk about aeropostale because I think that is my favorite store and I can find it anywhere in the world.

I like that brand because I can fit their clothes, and because they have a lot of designs .

that brand is a little expensive, that's why I don't buy many things there.

I buy clothes in the outlet's aeropostale because is cheaper than in an other aeropostale store .

My favorite brand

I like Mizuno which is a sports brand established in Japan.

Because clothes and other items (golf club, bat, grove etc.) are functional and not so expensive compared to other sports brands.

I always use Mizuno brand's golf clubs, clothes and shoes when I play golf.

Now I'm having fun with golf but I played baseball in my schooltime for about 10 years.

So I've liked golf from then on.

Adidas

The name of the brand is ADIDAS, a sport store of clothes and equipment. The name is a transformation of his own founder Adolf (Adi) Dassler and his brother Rudolf (who founded PUMA years later).

ADIDAS has two lines of clothes: Adidas Originals and Adidas

Performance. The first one is a fashion but sport kind of clothes, the second its clothes for sportsmen.

I like this brand because the two lines of clothes are extremely comfortable and modern, you can use them in any moment being always appropriate. The reason of my choise is beacuse i love sports and that clothes, and i feel great wearing them.

Also the new lines are pretty exclusive beacause is not cheap clothes in is firts moments of its appearance and many popular celebrities of sport and TV use it, maxmizing its popularity.

My favorite clothes

I don't have any favorite brand, but I like to find second-hand clothes.

I often wear my mother's clothes because that seem like '80 style. If it's a jacket, I will cut off shoulder pads. If it's a skirt,I'll fix it shorter.

I also like to go shopping. My favorite store is Hanjiro where second hand clothes are sold,but I mostly go window shopping!

FOREVER XXI

I discovered this brand because of an American friend. She was staying in my house for two months, and when she arrived she gave us great clothes from there. That was when I started to like it. There's lot's of variety of clothes there. You can choose from basic t-shirts to printed up t-shirts. And another awesome thing of there is that you can find cheap clothes but of good quality. Forever 21 is an American chain of clothing retailers with branches around the world, you can find it in almost every country.

My favorite book is One Piece.

One Piece is a famous Japanese mangazine series written by Eiichiro Oda.

One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy who gets special abilities after eating a fruit which can get a special ability.

there are many kinds of fruits,so everyone can get many kinds of spacial ability.

Monky D Luffy's ability is the Gum Human.He can make his body like gum.He is so strong.

Luffy explores the ocean in search of world's treasure known as the One Piece and to become the next Pirates King.

The reason why I like this book is I like this magazines' story and main characters.

The Lord of the Ring

MY FAVORITE BOOKS- THE LORD OF THE RING

When I was in my country, I read The Lord of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien. I love it because there is a book action, fantasy, other time and amazing places and unimaginable. This book talk about one ring powerful and everybody want to have but this ring is evil and turns people into cruel people, it’s amazing story with Elves, Dwarves and Orcs. You’ll love it.

Insights into the Church

I read last year the Books „Sakrileg“ and „Illuminati“ from the author Dan Brown. It is a fictional story with conspiracy theories about the church and French history. I like the books because the church is the biggest liar in the world history and these books give a little insight about the church and its terrible history.

Snow White

When I was a child my favourite story was Snow White. It was collected by the brother Grimm .when the beautiful girl got lost in the forest and she found a house. In that house she found Seven Dwarfs .I liked it because it was so funny.

All my life I have liked to read the most popular newspaper in Saudi Arabia. Its name is`today ` . This newspaper has 50 authors and it has anything about Saudi Arabia and about my king abdullah. I like it because it is the best newspaper in my country.

My favourite book: Elemental, watson.

This story was written by Conan Doyle. It is about investigation crimes. I like the story because I read it not for an obligation and because I like this type of stories so much.

My favorite article

The women's world cup was held in Germmany on July 17th this year, they are called "Nadeshiko Japan". They had won the final match!! Japan team is now the champion team in the world! They had been dreaming to win American team. It was a really attractive game, in the first half, both team did't get any goals, however in the second half, USA got a first goal! But Japan have never give up, that's why they are called "Nadeshiko Japan", Nadeshiko means "never give up and strong", we have some flowers in Japan called "NADESHIKO", those flowers are dark red and very strong. If you step on the flowers, it doesn't go bad and lose heart. After the USA got a goal, Japan got a goal in the end of the match. So they had an extention match, USA got a goal again in the match and Japan fallowed USA. Finally they couldn't be settled... On PK match, Japan team beat the USA 3-2!! I was impresed it and made me cry a lot. I wasn't interested in Women's World Cup, but now I really love to watch it.

"Tu" Magazine

When I was 12 years old i found a magazine call "Tú" ("You" in english). It was a Chilean magazine, and in that moment i found it awesome! They talk about make-up, famous icons, and romantic test, the typical things that a teen-magazine talks about. In that moment i was totally interested in those kind of things, so I started buying them every month. I collected 40 of them, they were like my treasure in some way. Last year i threw them away when i moved and it was a little hard i have to admit.

There are my partner from Argentina, the others two boys of Brasil and me.
Yesterday afternoon we visited Queen Elisabeth Park with Joey, it is a very beautiful place that i recomend to go.

My Favourite Books

When I was a child my favourite books were the Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis. They are stories about the adventures of a group of children in a magical land where animals can talk. I liked them because they were so imaginative and fun to read. Now there are movies about these books, but I think the books are better!
